Hugo Gallagher
remembered

Despite
torrential rain throughout the day over eighty players represnting all
the codes and age groups in the club turned up to remember and honour
the late Hugo Gallagher in a
day of exhibition matches, at the Holyrood sports centre, on Sunday
10th December.
The day started with a mixed team challenge between the
under 14s and 12s footballers. They were followed by a brave group of 5
to 8 year olds from the mini-harps who
gace their parents and mentors a footballing lesson. Next up was
the camogie and ladies
footballers s who played a challenge match
one half of each code. The footballl team one the first
half, but were well beating in the camogie second
half. The day was concluded with an exhibition football among the
senior footballers.
Due to the bad weather the Hugo
Gallagher cup, competed for by the adult mens teams was held over
till the start of next season.

Drug Awareness Day
The visit of Rush National school to St.Mungo's in Glasgow included
a full day's drug awareness training for the children from P6 and their
visitors.

success for the Harps

Jason Sherlock, receives a Scottish Quaich from some of the boys on the
Drug Awareness Exchange to Dublin. Jason gave the children a talk
at St. Malachy's school, Finglas, on his experience of drugs and racism
while growing up in Dublin. He later met up with the kids at a
training
session of the Dublin county team were the children were given some
sports
gear by the players.
